BIC pays more than 1 billion VND of BIC Binh An insurance to customers in in Hanoi
On May 29, 2023, in Thuan Thanh Town, Bac Ninh Province, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam – South Hanoi Branch (BIDV South Hanoi) and BIDV Hanoi Insurance Company (BIC Hanoi) paid more than 1 billion dong of borrower insurance (BIC Binh An) benefits to Mr N.T.G’s family.
Mr. N.T.G (53 years old, Bac Ninh) and his wife, Mrs. N.T.H, borrowed money at BIDV South Hanoi to serve the family's personal consumption needs with the loan amount of 1 billion dong. After being enthusiastically advised by BIDV's staff on BIC Binh An, they agreed and voluntarily participated in insurance for his entire loan. On the night of December 30, 2022, an unfortunate accident happened at the customer's house, causing Mr. G. to die on the spot. Immediately upon receiving the news from Mr. G's family, BIC Hanoi sent greetings and encouragements to the customer's family, and at the same time, urgently coordinated with Mr. G. family and BIDV South Hanoi collect relevant documents to develop regular payment procedures as prescribed. The total amount paid to Mr. N.T.G's family is VND 1,012,700,267.
