BIC receives transfer of modern internal management system from BIDV

On October 28, 2025, at the Headquarters of BIDV Insurance Corporation (BIC), a ceremony was held to officially transfer and launch the customized version of the B.One internal management system for BIC, based on the technology platform developed by the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV).
B.One is a bank-wide internal management system independently researched, designed, and implemented by BIDV with the goal of building a “paperless office,” enabling seamless digital connectivity from the headquarters to each branch. After one year of operation since the end of 2024, B.One has proven to be highly effective in improving work efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing management transparency. The system has helped cut average task processing time by 30%, significantly reduced printing, administrative, and travel expenses. Recently, B.One was also honored with the 2025 Sao Khue Award by VINASA, affirming BIDV’s pioneering role in digital transformation among state-owned enterprises.
Following its successful implementation at BIDV, the transfer of the B.One system to member units is considered a strategic move to expand the comprehensive digital management model across the BIDV ecosystem. BIC is the first unit in the system to successfully adopt this platform, reflecting the strong trust of BIDV’s leadership in BIC’s implementation capabilities. After the transfer, the system will operate under the name “BIC One” and be customized to suit the specific needs of the insurance business.
The adoption of the BIC One platform will enhance BIC’s operational efficiency in multiple aspects: increasing productivity, saving processing time, reducing administrative procedures, and strengthening connectivity and information sharing across departments. The system also contributes to improved management, operations, and supervision, supporting the leadership in making swift and accurate decisions, thereby fostering a professional, transparent, and modern working environment.
Following the transfer of this advanced management system from its parent bank, BIC will continue to invest heavily in technology infrastructure to ensure secure, stable, and efficient operations. At the same time, BIC will conduct training and guidance to ensure staff can proficiently use the platform. BIC envisions BIC One becoming a “digital work hub” where all activities are connected, all information is shared, and all innovations are fostered.
In the coming time, BIC hopes BIDV will continue to play a leading role in information technology, accompanying and supporting member units in their digital transformation journey. With support from the parent bank, along with the spirit of innovation and determination of all employees, BIC will continuously enhance its competitiveness, make breakthroughs in the market, and achieve sustainable development on a modern technological foundation—continuing its 20-year journey of growth and success.
