BIC 2013 annual meetings were successfully held
Attending to these annual meetings, there are all members of Board of Directors, Board of Supervisors and Board of Management and more than 200 key staffs in both of domestic and oversea (Laos and Cambodia).
2013 is a challenged year for BIC with a lot of difficulties due to the economic recession that strongly impact to the insurance business. By the efforts of all members, however, BIC completed the assigned business plan successfully, as detail: total insurance revenue reached 895 billion dong, increased 18.7% in comparison with 2012, fulfilled 105.3% the assigned plan of this year. Total consolidated profit before taxes gained 125.6 billion dong, completed 101% the assigned plan.
Looking forward to 2014, the business strategy of efficiency and profitability will be continued maintaining by a lot of synchronized solutions such as business network, organization structure, business policies, management, product and distribution channel… as details: total insurance revenue reaches 1,000 billion dong, completes the project of choosing strategic partner and increase chartered equity, fulfill the project of international prestige rating, buys 65% of shares of CVI and coordinate with BIDV put the Joint-Venture – BIDV Metlife life insurance firm into operation since the Third Quarter of this year.
As expected the BIC Annual General Meeting is going to held in April of 2014 to approve the important business plan of the company in this year.
Besides these official meetings, in order to make joy and pressure to all key staffs in the whole company, some other important events such as the 1st underwriting contest, Saokim 2013 were also held joyfully.
