CVI’s CEO voted to be Deputy Chairman of GIAC
GIAC was set up in April 2005. At that time, Mr Chhay Rattanak (CEO of Cambodia Reinsurancee Company) was Chairman and Mr Pascal Brandt-Gagnon (CEO of Asia Insurance Company) was Deputy Chairman. In 2011, due to the change of CEO of Asia Insurance Company, GIAC take a voting to re-select the position of Deputy Chairman.
Mr Cao Minh Son’s win has affirmed the role of CVI in the development of Cambodia insurance market, especially when CVI is a new comer.
At the moment, Cambodia insurance market has 7 members: Caminco, Asia, Forte, Infinity, Campubank Lonpac, CVI and Cambodia National Reinsurance Company. CVI joined the market in 2009 and has been striving to become the leader in aviation insurance, the market share at 30 September of 2011 was 7%.
