BIC offers 15% discount on compulsory motorbike liability insurance for renewing customers
Starting from June 1, 2024, BIDV Insurance Corporation (BIC) is launching a special promotion titled “Extra savings for safer rides” to express appreciation to customers who renew their compulsory motorbike liability insurance.
Customers who previously purchased BIC’s compulsory motorbike liability insurance and had no claims will receive an immediate 15% discount on the standard premium when renewing via mybic.vn, the MyBIC app, or BIDV SmartBanking.
Eligible customers will be automatically identified by BIC’s online sales system, and the discount will be applied during the renewal process. Once payment is completed, the electronic insurance certificate will be sent to the customer via email. This e-certificate holds the same legal validity as the printed version, making it easy to store, retrieve, and present when needed.
The compulsory motorbike liability insurance certificate is a required document for vehicle owners when participating in traffic. In the event of an accident, BIC will compensate third parties for bodily injury and property damage caused by the insured motorbike. The coverage limits are up to VND 150 million per person per accident for bodily injury and VND 50 million per accident for property damage.
