In early August 2023, FIS successfully installed 3 automatic forest fire forecast signboards at the headquarters of two Forest Ranger District of Xuyen Moc and Dat Do districts and a Nui Dinh station of Tan Thanh - Phu My Forest Ranger District. The three signboards belong to the project "Purchase 03 electronic forest fire warning level signboards under the Plan to purchase specialized machinery and equipment for forest fire prevention in the dry season of 2022-2023 for the Forest Ranger Districts of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province"

            Ba Ria - Vung Tau is located in the Southeast region, bordering Dong Nai province to the North, Ho Chi Minh City to the West, Binh Thuan province to the East, and the South borders the East Sea.
Ba Ria - Vung Tau has 7 administrative units located on the mainland and one island administrative unit, Con Dao district. The province's terrain can be divided into 4 regions: island peninsula, midland mountainous area and coastal plain valley area.

            Depending on the natural conditions and terrain of Ba Ria - Vung Tau, FIS finds locations to install automatic forest fire forecast signboards that are convenient for traffic and communication

            Installation locations in Ba Ria Vung Tau include:

           - Xuyen Moc Forest Ranger District

       - Long Dien - Dat Do Forest Ranger District

         - Nui Dinh Thi Vai Station - Phu My Town

              The automatic forest fire forecast signboard is based on the collection of meteorological factors; Through that, the forest fire forecast level in the area is calculated and the needle is controlled to the fire level position on the signboard. At the same time, users can manage and control the sign through the application on mobile devices.
Through the indicator of the automatic forest fire forecast level signboard, local forest rangers coordinate with people to closely monitor areas with the possibility of fires, strengthen forces and equipment for forest fire prevention to minimize damage caused by fires.
