Land and forest allocation
INTRODUCTION
Land and forest allocation is one of the effective forest management methods, ensuring the maintenance and restoration of forest cover and improving biodiversity quality and protection capacity through the enforcement of ownership and land and forest use rights in accordance with the law; at the same time, improving the livelihood capital and income of people living on forestry.
OBJECTIVES
Both creating economic livelihoods and encouraging people to participate in forest protection and development. Reduce deforestation, people have the conditions to improve their lives, contributing to hunger eradication and poverty reduction in the locality;
Limit deforestation, forest encroachment, forest fires, and forest land disputes between individuals and individuals, between individuals and organizations;
Raise people's awareness of biodiversity conservation of forest ecosystems, and actively participate in forest management, care, protection and development.
CONTENTS
Priority subjects for forest protection contracts are households, organizations and local households with difficult lives.
Households and organizations participating in contracts to protect, regenerate forests; forest restoration are allocated land by the State for forestry production purposes.
Develop agroforestry such as: raising livestock, poultry and planting some short-term medicinal plants under the forest canopy without affecting the forest.
