Forest Fire Early Detection System
INTRODUCE
The forest fire early detection system was researched, developed and perfected by FIS in 2011, this is a modern GIS and information technology application system. This system works synchronously and automatically from the stage of collecting and processing fire points from satellites integrated into the GIS database system and giving fire point information results to users/terminals (mobile phones, tablets, SMS, emails) for forest fire prevention and fighting.
KEY FEATURES
1. The application runs on the server
- Obtain fire point information from the satellite imagery station of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA);
- Processing fire point information, converting the fire point coordinate system from the international coordinate system (WGS84) to the national standard coordinate system (VN2000);
- Integrate the GIS database to extract fire points by district, commune, sub-zone, forest area, village/hamlet; information on the phone numbers of the forest ranger agency and the village head of the area where the fire point is located;
- Sent the message of the results of the fire point to mobile subscribers of members of the Fire and Rescue Steering Committee at all levels;
- Send the fire point results to the email boxes of members of the Fire and Rescue Steering Committee at all levels;
- Notification and display of fire point results on mobile device applications;
2. Smartphone apps
- Automatic notification of fire point results;
- View a list of the most recent photo sessions compared to the current time;
- Look up fire points by day and by administrative level;
- Statistics on fire points by month and by district;
- Display the results of fire points on satellite maps and Google Maps for forest fire fighting commanders;
- Locate the actual standing position on the satellite map and calculate the distance to the fire point;
- View information about the fire point on satellite maps, google maps;
- There is a feature to integrate administrative boundaries and boundaries in forestry on google map satellite maps;
- There is a navigation feature from the current location to the fire point.
