INTRODUCE

The Forest inventory software synthesizes forest inventory data for the national forest census and inventory program in the period of 2013 – 2016 according to the Prime Minister's Decision 594/QD-TTg dated April 15, 2013. Forest inventory data is stored on the software and managed to the forest status lot (the smallest management unit in the forestry industry) according to the forest use purpose and according to the forest manager.

KEY FEATURES

- To manage forest areas and reserves to each state lot (the smallest management unit in the forestry sector) according to forest use purposes and forest management owners.

- 2-way connection between data in software and status lot attributes in digital maps through technology. Specifically, when the forest lot attribute changes in the digital map, the software also changes and vice versa.

- To synthesize forest inventory data and provide reporting forms according to regulations of the branches.

- Update the causes of forest fluctuations such as: Afforestation, forest exploitation, forest fires, forest pests and diseases, deforestation, forestry land use conversion, zoning for forest regeneration, etc. and give uniform reporting forms according to the regulations of the sector.

- Storage, analysis and comparison of accumulated forest area and reserves according to the formula: Data at the beginning of the previous year + Data on changes in the year = Data at the beginning of the next year.
